Located in Bear, Delaware, AWSM Solutions serves a variety of industries including surfactants, industrial and institutional cleaners, transportation cleaners, marine products, and herbicides.
Position Summary The Production Floater is responsible for varied duties based on operational needs.
The primary job function of the Production Floater will be making deliveries to required customers.
This position is also responsible for achievement of production, safety and quality goals as outlined by their supervisor.
Essential Functions ? Complete scheduled customer deliveries as scheduled.
This includes loading and unloading of company vehicles, verifying inventory of products to be delivered, and maintaining current pre/post-delivery inspections on company vehicles.
? Operate various manufacturing equipment such as blend tanks, pumps, filters, heaters, liquid fillers, and sealing equipment.
? Follow mix ticket instructions to accurately weigh and add raw materials to batches.
? Follow instructions on fill tickets when packaging product.
? Fill blended materials into required packaging.
? Other job duties as assigned based on operational needs.
Required Qualifications ? High School diploma or G.
E.
D.
equivalent.
? Valid Drivers License.
? Knowledge of forklift operation and ability to pass all company required written and hands-on test certifications.
? Ability to perform basic math calculations.
? Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
? Demonstrate attention-to-detail, problem solving, and ability to multi-task.
? Effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as basic computer proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications ? CDL driving experience and license.
? 3 or more years manufacturing experience.
