Company and Position Overview
Ransome Rents, the Cat Rental Store of one of the largest family owned businesses in the Tri-State area, is seeking a Tractor Trailer Driver to join their Rental Division at their branch location in Bear, DE.
This position would be responsible for delivering Heavy Construction Equipment and allied products to our customers in the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have their Class A CDL, and will have experience with Lowboys and rollback trucks.
Responsibilities
Delivery of heavy equipment and allied products to customers
100% of units to be fueled, inspected for damage and tagged at time of return.
100% of management requests, special assignment or projects to be completed within the specified time.
100% of late deliveries reported to inside sales coordinator/dispatcher.
Maintain a safe driving record at all times.
Department of Transportation (DOT) log book to be in 100% compliance.
Drivers Daily Inspection Reports to be completed prior to first run every morning.
100% of suspected customer damage reported to service manager immediately upon identification
Obtain customer signature on rental contract and damage inspection sheet at time of delivery
Vehicle to be kept clean and in proper working order.

Operational Functions
Interact with rental counter personnel throughout the day to support the constant changing demand for equipment.
Perform final equipment inspection before customer receives it, verifying inventory ID number, fuel level and "rental ready" condition.
Skills Required
Ability to load and unload construction and aerial equipment.
Ability to operate tractor and trailer with no accidents or safety violations.
Skilled Desired
Construction or aerial equipment rental operation.
Mechanical aptitude.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
