JOB DESCRIPTION

Lifeguards primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of patrons at an assigned aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing all pool rules fairly and consistently. Lifeguards are also responsible for reporting any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to their Supervisor. Lifeguards ensure proper pool water chemicals, record keeping and maintaining a clean and enjoyable aquatics facility. AquaSafe Pools teaches and encourages the lifeguarding / managing skills that will help you outside of the lifeguard / pool manager position, such as:
Team Management
Risk Management
Professionalism
Leadership
Teamwork
Response and Rescue
QUALIFICATIONS
Lifeguards must be a minimum of 16 years of age by May 23rd
Lifeguards must have current Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid Certificates or obtain them before the beginning of the season
Lifeguards must be able to work Memorial Day weekend, the 4th of July and Labor Day weekend (May 23rd through September 7th)
Lifeguards must be able to work all weekends throughout the Summer
Lifeguards must conduct themselves in a professional manner and must be attentive and focused

Our lifeguards / pool managers earn an average of $6,000 over the course of the summer

Lifeguard / Pool Manager Job Dates: May 23, 2015 - September 7, 2015
Pay rate: $8.60 - $9.25/h (depending on experience) If you meet the above requirements please submit your resume and cover letter to be considered for this challenging position!!Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
