SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Supervisor of Administration/Maintenance Call Center (MCC) is responsible for supervising the administrative and maintenance call center staff.
This position is required to ensure that all Federal and State Regulations are followed along with Amtrak Automotive policies.
This role ensures data accuracy and timely reporting across all levels of management.
Daily activities include the ensuring the safety of the staff, along with planning, scheduling prioritizing, supervision, training, reviewing,
and participating in the support of the Amtrak Fleet and its vendors. This includes submitting and managing payments through various systems and processes.


Essential Functions:

Manages the administration and maintenance of Amtrak s Automotive fleet of approximately 2,200 vehicles.
Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for vehicle and equipment maintenance.
Manages the input of the database, ensuring compliance, maintaining policies and procedures, and the resources of credit cards, titles, tags, insurance, and devices that assist in that process.
Manage data integrity, auditing and reporting that will be reviewed by various departments and levels of management.
Provides oversight, support, financial direction, control over payments, reimbursements, capital projects, and vendor invoicing (including GSA & WEX Bills) to proper processing and ensure cost savings.
Participate and develop policy and procedures for managing Amtrak s fleet from a safety, time and cost perspective.

MININUM
Qualifications:

Bachelor s Degree in business or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience PLUS 6 years of relevant experience required
Demonstrate experience in managing staff, fleet management and call center responsibilities.
Business financial systems experience.
Knowledge of Automotive policies and procedures.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and technical skills to work with complex information or processes in a matrix environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work within time constraints and deadlines.
Prior supervisory experience & basic knowledge of TCU Union Agreement.

MINIMUM KNOWELDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of the railroad and how it functions, specifically relating to the support roles of the fleet. Knowledge of working within Federal and State regulations pertaining to vehicles and equipment. Solid understanding of TCU collective bargaining agreement, time management and system entry, training, and performance management.
Expert knowledge of Automotive programs, data analysis, reports, and projects as required.
Strong organizational and attention to detail is essential.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION OR
Qualifications:

Should have the ability to show knowledge of various areas including but not limited to Supervising, Reporting, Projects, Call Center and Automotive abilities, through any education/training, certifications or qualifications documented or otherwise provided through knowledge transfer. Prior experience leading a vehicle fleet repair shop is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is such that it is demanding and will require the ability to mult-task to achieve production.
It can be fast paced yet requires customer service skills to handle vendors as well as employees in a timely manner.
Automotive personnel will field and answer multiple questions and support multiple situations which fall under state
and federal regulations. This position will be responsible for approving financial payments in various forms.
The work performed in the environment affects every position within and outside of Automotive. The finest attention to detail skills are
required as a result and failure can lead to increase in costs for Amtrak.
